I bit my lip holding in every word I couldn't say, every emotion I buried deep inside, every I love you I wanted to slip off the tips of my lips from mountain tops. I bit my lip hoping that with every word unspoken this fantasy could last forever and a day past the end. That somehow if I kept my eyes closed tight you'd still be holding me in the morning...and it's silly really because I knew it would end when it started. But, I gave my all without hesitation or regret and allowed myself to fall, hard and uncushioned because being with you and bruised was 100 times better than slowly dying without you. And I wonder will anyone ever love me like you tried too?
